Design for Healthcare Improvement. Part II
BarePrat is an informal arena to discuss different topics related to Urban Development – in a broad sense. This events focus is on how service design can better childrens experiences of operating theatres.
After a 20min presentation, the audience is welcomed into the informal discussion. How does this impact our societies?
Manuela Aguirre, will share a collection insights based on her experience of co-designing in different healthcare settings. These experiences include Mayo Clinic in the US, Oslo Hospital Emergency Services, and DIPS- Distributed Information and Patient Data System in Norwegian Hospitals. She will also share more about Fabric+ recent studies around fall prevention and accessibility in arctic conditions.
Manuela is currently Fabric+’ new design director and Fabric+ is AT arkitektur’s new department for local and regional co-design and development. Before joining Fabric+, Manuela led the Systemic and Service Design team at Designit Oslo. Manuela has a PhD from The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) in Systemic Design and was an Associate Professor at AHO’s Service Design group.
